How can I treat acne scars n spots left behind from acne?

I am 23 and my acne has slowed down, I do ocassionally get one or two ance spot but I am glad it has decreased. However, now I am looking in mirror n hoping that there is some product that could take away the scars n spots. I don't know if it helps to answer my question, I have a brown complexion. Thanks in
