How do I get rid of acne scars naturally?

I'm 17 and I have acne since 11. But thankfully, my acne is slowly going away. The only problem is, that my acne during this 6 year span, created a lot of scars. I have dark caramel skin but my scars are black. Its really annoying and I feel low confident each time I watch myself on the mirror. I have tried products like Proactive and others, but no result.
